We have placed

the heavens

and We have beautified it

for the observers

And We have protected it

And the earth

and [We] cast

firm mountains

and [We] caused to grow

wa-anbatnā (وَأَنْبَتْنَا)

well-balanced

And We have made

for you

means of living

maʿāyisha (مَعَايِشَ)

and whom

waman (وَمَنْ)

15:20:6

you are not

lastum (لَسْتُمْ)

for him

lahu (لَهُ)

15:20:8

providers

birāziqīna (بِرَازِقِينَ)

And not

wa-in (وَإِنْ)

(is) any

We send it down

nunazziluhu (نُنَزِّلُهُ)

in a measure

biqadarin (بِقَدَرٍ)

maʿlūmin (مَعْلُومٍ)

And We have sent

wa-arsalnā (وَأَرْسَلْنَا)

the winds

l-riyāḥa (الرِّيَاحَ)

fertilizing

lawāqiḥa (لَوَاقِحَ)

15:22:4

and We sent down

fa-anzalnā (فَأَنْزَلْنَا)

15:22:5

from

mina (مِنَ)

the sky

l-samāi (السَّمَاءِ)

15:22:7

water

māan (مَاءً)

and We gave it to you to drink

fa-asqaynākumūhu (فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ)

And not

wamā (وَمَا)

you

of it

(are) retainers

bikhāzinīna (بِخَازِنِينَ)

And indeed We

wa-innā (وَإِنَّا)

surely [We]

lanaḥnu (لَنَحْنُ)

We give life

nuḥ'yī (نُحْيِي)

and We cause death

wanumītu (وَنُمِيتُ)

and We

wanaḥnu (وَنَحْنُ)

(are) the Inheritors

l-wārithūna (الْوَارِثُونَ)

And verily

walaqad (وَلَقَدْ)

We know

ʿalim'nā (عَلِمْنَا)

15:24:3

the preceding ones

l-mus'taqdimīna (الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ)

among you

minkum (مِنْكُمْ)

15:24:5

and verily

walaqad (وَلَقَدْ)

We know

ʿalim'nā (عَلِمْنَا)

the later ones

l-mus'takhirīna (الْمُسْتَءْخِرِينَ)

And indeed

wa-inna (وَإِنَّ)

your Lord

rabbaka (رَبَّكَ)

He

huwa (هُوَ)

will gather them

yaḥshuruhum (يَحْشُرُهُمْ)

Indeed He

innahu (إِنَّهُ)

(is) All-Wise

ḥakīmun (حَكِيمٌ)

All-Knowing

ʿalīmun (عَلِيمٌ)

And verily

walaqad (وَلَقَدْ)

We created

khalaqnā (خَلَقْنَا)

humankind

l-insāna (الْإِنْسَانَ)

(out) of

min (مِنْ)

sounding clay

ṣalṣālin (صَلْصَالٍ)

black mud

altered

And the jinn

wal-jāna (وَالْجَانَّ)

We created it

a human being

basharan (بَشَرًا)

15:28:8

(out) of

min (مِنْ)

clay

ṣalṣālin (صَلْصَالٍ)

from

min (مِنْ)

black mud

ḥama-in (حَمَإٍ)

altered

So when

I have fashioned him

and [I] breathed

wanafakhtu (وَنَفَخْتُ)

My spirit

then fall down

faqaʿū (فَقَعُوا)

So prostrated

the Angels

all of them

kulluhum (كُلُّهُمْ)

Except

Iblis

He refused

(one) to prostrate

li-asjuda (لِأَسْجُدَ)

to a human

libasharin (لِبَشَرٍ)

whom You created

khalaqtahu (خَلَقْتَهُ)

(out) of

min (مِنْ)

15:33:8

clay

ṣalṣālin (صَلْصَالٍ)

black mud

(will be) the curse

(the) Day

(of) [the] Judgment

O my Lord

Then give me respite

fa-anẓir'nī (فَأَنْظِرْنِي)

they are raised

yub'ʿathūna (يُبْعَثُونَ)

Then indeed you

fa-innaka (فَإِنَّكَ)

mina (مِنَ)

the ones given respite

l-munẓarīna (الْمُنْظَرِينَ)

Till

the Day

yawmi (يَوْمِ)

(of) the time

l-waqti (الْوَقْتِ)

My Lord

You misled me

aghwaytanī (أَغْوَيْتَنِي)

surely I will make (evil) fair-seeming

la-uzayyinanna (لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ)

to them

lahum (لَهُمْ)

in

the earth

l-arḍi (الْأَرْضِ)

and I will mislead them

wala-ugh'wiyannahum (وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ)

all

Your slaves

ʿibādaka (عِبَادَكَ)

the ones who are sincere

Indeed

My slaves

laysa (لَيْسَ)

you have

laka (لَكَ)

over them

ʿalayhim (عَلَيْهِمْ)

any authority

sul'ṭānun (سُلْطَانٌ)

those who

follow you

And indeed

Hell

(is) surely the promised place for them

(are) seven

the righteous

Gardens

and water springs

And We (will) remove

its highest (part)

its lowest

sāfilahā (سَافِلَهَا)

and We rained

wa-amṭarnā (وَأَمْطَرْنَا)

upon them

ʿalayhim (عَلَيْهِمْ)

stones

ḥijāratan (حِجَارَةً)

of

min (مِنْ)

15:74:8

baked clay

sijjīlin (سِجِّيلٍ)

Indeed

(are) the Signs

for those who discern

(is) on a road

(the) companions

(of) the wood

surely wrongdoers

So We took retribution

fa-intaqamnā (فَانْتَقَمْنَا)

from them

and indeed they both

wa-innahumā (وَإِنَّهُمَا)

(were) on a highway

labi-imāmin (لَبِإِمَامٍ)

clear

mubīnin (مُبِينٍ)

And certainly

walaqad (وَلَقَدْ)

denied

kadhaba (كَذَّبَ)

(the) companions

(of) the Rocky Tract

the Messengers

And We gave them

waātaynāhum (وَءَاتَيْنَاهُمْ)

Our Signs

but they were

from them

turning away

the mountains

secure

But seized them

(is) between them

in truth

And indeed

wa-inna (وَإِنَّ)

the Hour

l-sāʿata (السَّاعَةَ)

(is) surely coming

So overlook

(with) forgiveness
