That not

allā (أَلَّا)

you take

tattakhidhū (تَتَّخِذُوا)

other than Me

dūnī (دُونِي)

(as) a Disposer of affairs

wakīlan (وَكِيلًا)

Offsprings

Surely you will cause corruption

the earth

(for) the first of the two

We raised

against you

ʿalaykum (عَلَيْكُمْ)

servants

ʿibādan (عِبَادًا)

17:5:8

of Ours

lanā (لَنَا)

Possessor

ulī (أُولِي)

17:5:10

those of military might

basin (بَأْسٍ)

great

shadīdin (شَدِيدٍ)

and they entered

fajāsū (فَجَاسُوا)

the inner most part

and (it) was

fulfilled

We gave back

and sons

and made you

nafīran (نَفِيرًا)

you do good

you do good

for yourselves

you do evil

the Masjid

(may) have mercy upon you

you return

ʿudttum (عُدْتُمْ)

We will return

ʿud'nā (عُدْنَا)

And We have made

wajaʿalnā (وَجَعَلْنَا)

Hell

jahannama (جَهَنَّمَ)

17:8:10

for the disbelievers

lil'kāfirīna (لِلْكَافِرِينَ)

17:8:11

a prison-bed

ḥaṣīran (حَصِيرًا)

Indeed

this

the Quran

(is) most straight

and gives glad tidings

to the believers

the righteous deeds

in the Hereafter

bil-ākhirati (بِالْءَاخِرَةِ)

We have prepared

aʿtadnā (أَعْتَدْنَا)

for them

lahum (لَهُمْ)

a punishment

ʿadhāban (عَذَابًا)

17:10:9

painful

alīman (أَلِيمًا)

And prays

wayadʿu (وَيَدْعُ)

the man

l-insānu (الْإِنْسَانُ)

17:11:3

for evil

bil-shari (بِالشَّرِّ)

(as) he prays

duʿāahu (دُعَاءَهُ)

for the good

bil-khayri (بِالْخَيْرِ)

And is

wakāna (وَكَانَ)

the man

ever hasty

ʿajūlan (عَجُولًا)

And We have made

wajaʿalnā (وَجَعَلْنَا)

the night

al-layla (اللَّيْلَ)

17:12:3

and the day

wal-nahāra (وَالنَّهَارَ)

17:12:4

(as) two signs

āyatayni (ءَايَتَيْنِ)

17:12:5

Then We erased

famaḥawnā (فَمَحَوْنَا)

17:12:6

(the) sign

āyata (ءَايَةَ)

17:12:7

(of) the night

al-layli (اللَّيْلِ)

17:12:8

and We made

wajaʿalnā (وَجَعَلْنَا)

17:12:9

(the) sign

āyata (ءَايَةَ)

17:12:10

(of) the day

l-nahāri (النَّهَارِ)

17:12:11

visible

mub'ṣiratan (مُبْصِرَةً)

17:12:12

that you may seek

litabtaghū (لِتَبْتَغُوا)

17:12:13

bounty

faḍlan (فَضْلًا)

17:12:14

from

min (مِنْ)

your Lord

rabbikum (رَبِّكُمْ)

and that you may know

walitaʿlamū (وَلِتَعْلَمُوا)

and the account

one laden with burden

burden

We have sent

nabʿatha (نَبْعَثَ)

a Messenger

rasūlan (رَسُولًا)

And when

wa-idhā (وَإِذَا)

We intend

aradnā (أَرَدْنَا)

that

We destroy

nuh'lika (نُهْلِكَ)

a town

qaryatan (قَرْيَةً)

We order

its wealthy people

but they defiantly disobey

All-Aware

(is) appreciated

and to the parents

Whether

an enemy

He will have mercy on you

the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

and the earth

And verily

We have preferred

We showed you

(as) a trial

and the tree

and We preferred them

Cause me to enter

an entrance

the soul

He lets go astray

protectors

Firaun

(the) Lord

rabbu (رَبُّ)

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

17:102:10

and the earth

wal-arḍi (وَالْأَرْضِ)

17:102:11

(as) evidence

baṣāira (بَصَائِرَ)

17:102:12

and indeed I

wa-innī (وَإِنِّي)

17:102:13

[I] surely think you

la-aẓunnuka (لَأَظُنُّكَ)

O Firaun

yāfir'ʿawnu (يَافِرْعَوْنُ)

(you are) destroyed

mathbūran (مَثْبُورًا)

So he intended

drive them out

but We drowned him

fa-aghraqnāhu (فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُ)

(were) with him

maʿahu (مَعَهُ)

all

jamīʿan (جَمِيعًا)

And We said

after him

to the Children

is'rāīla (إِسْرَاءِيلَ)

Dwell

us'kunū (اسْكُنُوا)

(in) the land

l-arḍa (الْأَرْضَ)

17:104:8

then when

fa-idhā (فَإِذَا)

17:104:9

comes

jāa (جَاءَ)

17:104:10

(the) promise

waʿdu (وَعْدُ)

(of) the Hereafter

l-ākhirati (الْءَاخِرَةِ)

17:104:12

We will bring

ji'nā (جِئْنَا)

17:104:13

you

bikum (بِكُمْ)

17:104:14

(as) a mixed crowd

lafīfan (لَفِيفًا)

And with the truth

wabil-ḥaqi (وَبِالْحَقِّ)

We sent it down

anzalnāhu (أَنْزَلْنَاهُ)

17:105:3

and with the truth

wabil-ḥaqi (وَبِالْحَقِّ)

it descended

nazala (نَزَلَ)

17:105:5

And not

wamā (وَمَا)

17:105:6

We sent you

arsalnāka (أَرْسَلْنَاكَ)

17:105:7

except

illā (إِلَّا)

17:105:8

(as) a bearer of glad tidings

mubashiran (مُبَشِّرًا)

17:105:9

and a warner

wanadhīran (وَنَذِيرًا)

And the Quran

We have divided

faraqnāhu (فَرَقْنَاهُ)

Indeed

inna (إِنَّ)

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

17:107:9

were given

ūtū (أُوتُوا)

the knowledge

l-ʿil'ma (الْعِلْمَ)

from

min (مِنْ)

17:107:12

before it

qablihi (قَبْلِهِ)

17:107:13

when

it is recited

our Lord

Indeed

in (إِنْ)

is

kāna (كَانَ)

17:108:6

(the) promise

waʿdu (وَعْدُ)

(of) our Lord

surely fulfilled

lamafʿūlan (لَمَفْعُولًا)

the One Who

has taken

yattakhidh (يَتَّخِذْ)

a son

waladan (وَلَدًا)

17:111:8

and not

walam (وَلَمْ)

is

yakun (يَكُنْ)

for Him

lahu (لَهُ)

17:111:11

a partner

sharīkun (شَرِيكٌ)

the dominion

l-mul'ki (الْمُلْكِ)

and not
