the sky

(as) a trial

and to Us

wa-ilaynā (وَإِلَيْنَا)

you will be returned

tur'jaʿūna (تُرْجَعُونَ)

And when

wa-idhā (وَإِذَا)

they see you

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

disbelieve

kafarū (كَفَرُوا)

they take you

wrongdoers

And We delivered him

and Lut

walūṭan (وَلُوطًا)

the land

which

allatī (الَّتِي)

We (had) blessed

bāraknā (بَارَكْنَا)

for the worlds

lil'ʿālamīna (لِلْعَالَمِينَ)

And We bestowed

wawahabnā (وَوَهَبْنَا)

on him

Ishaq

is'ḥāqa (إِسْحَاقَ)

and Yaqub

wayaʿqūba (وَيَعْقُوبَ)

We made

jaʿalnā (جَعَلْنَا)

righteous

And We made them

wajaʿalnāhum (وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ)

21:73:2

leaders

a-immatan (أَئِمَّةً)

they guide

yahdūna (يَهْدُونَ)

by Our Command

bi-amrinā (بِأَمْرِنَا)

21:73:5

And We inspired

wa-awḥaynā (وَأَوْحَيْنَا)

to them

ilayhim (إِلَيْهِمْ)

21:73:7

(the) doing

fiʿ'la (فِعْلَ)

21:73:8

(of) good deeds

l-khayrāti (الْخَيْرَاتِ)

21:73:9

and establishment

wa-iqāma (وَإِقَامَ)

21:73:10

(of) the prayer

l-ṣalati (الصَّلَوةِ)

and giving

waītāa (وَإِيتَاءَ)

21:73:12

(of) zakah

l-zakati (الزَّكَوةِ)

and they were

wakānū (وَكَانُوا)

of Us

worshippers

ʿābidīna (عَابِدِينَ)

21:74:1

And (to) Lut

walūṭan (وَلُوطًا)

We gave him

ātaynāhu (ءَاتَيْنَاهُ)

21:74:3

judgment

ḥuk'man (حُكْمًا)

21:74:4

and knowledge

waʿil'man (وَعِلْمًا)

21:74:5

and We saved him

wanajjaynāhu (وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ)

21:74:6

from

mina (مِنَ)

21:74:7

the town

l-qaryati (الْقَرْيَةِ)

21:74:8

which

allatī (الَّتِي)

21:74:9

was

kānat (كَانَتْ)

21:74:10

doing

taʿmalu (تَعْمَلُ)

21:74:11

wicked deeds

l-khabāitha (الْخَبَائِثَ)

Indeed they

a people

And We admitted him

Our Mercy

raḥmatinā (رَحْمَتِنَا)

Indeed he

the righteous

l-ṣāliḥīna (الصَّالِحِينَ)

21:76:1

And Nuh

wanūḥan (وَنُوحًا)

when

he called

nādā (نَادَى)

21:76:4

from

min (مِنْ)

before

qablu (قَبْلُ)

21:76:6

so We responded

fa-is'tajabnā (فَاسْتَجَبْنَا)

to him

and We saved him

fanajjaynāhu (فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ)

and his family

wa-ahlahu (وَأَهْلَهُ)

the affliction

We gave

and knowledge

And We subjected

wasakharnā (وَسَخَّرْنَا)

Dawud

and the birds

And We were

the Doers

fāʿilīna (فَاعِلِينَ)

And We taught him

waʿallamnāhu (وَعَلَّمْنَاهُ)

(the) making

ṣanʿata (صَنْعَةَ)

(of) coats of armor

labūsin (لَبُوسٍ)

for you

to protect you

And We were

wakunnā (وَكُنَّا)

of them

Guardians

And Ayub

wa-ayyūba (وَأَيُّوبَ)

when

he called

(to) his Lord

Indeed [I]

annī (أَنِّي)

has touched me

the adversity

and You

(are) Most Merciful

and We removed

and fear

warahaban (وَرَهَبًا)

and they were

to Us

humbly submissive

And she who

wa-allatī (وَالَّتِي)

guarded

aḥṣanat (أَحْصَنَتْ)

her chastity

so We breathed

fanafakhnā (فَنَفَخْنَا)

into her

Our Spirit

and We made her

a sign

for the worlds

Indeed

(is) your religion

ummatukum (أُمَّتُكُمْ)

and I Am

your Lord

so worship Me

fa-uʿ'budūni (فَاعْبُدُونِ)

But they cut off

wataqaṭṭaʿū (وَتَقَطَّعُوا)

their affair

amrahum (أَمْرَهُمْ)

21:93:3

among themselves

baynahum (بَيْنَهُمْ)

21:93:4

all

kullun (كُلٌّ)

to Us

ilaynā (إِلَيْنَا)

(will) return

rājiʿūna (رَاجِعُونَ)

21:94:1

Then whoever

faman (فَمَنْ)

21:94:2

does

yaʿmal (يَعْمَلْ)

21:94:3

[of]

mina (مِنَ)

21:94:4

[the] righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti (الصَّالِحَاتِ)

21:94:5

while he

wahuwa (وَهُوَ)

21:94:6

(is) a believer

mu'minun (مُؤْمِنٌ)

21:94:7

then not

falā (فَلَا)

21:94:8

(will be) rejected

kuf'rāna (كُفْرَانَ)

21:94:9

[of] his effort

lisaʿyihi (لِسَعْيِهِ)

And indeed We

wa-innā (وَإِنَّا)

of it

lahu (لَهُ)

(are) Recorders

kātibūna (كَاتِبُونَ)

And (there is) prohibition

waḥarāmun (وَحَرَامٌ)

upon

ʿalā (عَلَى)

a city

qaryatin (قَرْيَةٍ)

which We have destroyed

ahlaknāhā (أَهْلَكْنَاهَا)

O woe to us

Verily

heedlessness

for the worlds
