(into) an embryonic lump

then We created

fakhalaqnā (فَخَلَقْنَا)

the embryonic lump

(into) bones

then We clothed

fakasawnā (فَكَسَوْنَا)

(with) flesh

laḥman (لَحْمًا)

date-palms

and grapevines

wa-aʿnābin (وَأَعْنَابٍ)

for you

in it

(are) fruits

fawākihu (فَوَاكِهُ)

abundant

kathīratun (كَثِيرَةٌ)

and from them

you eat

And a tree

surely (is) a lesson

We give you drink

(is) in

his people

qawmihi (قَوْمِهِ)

and he said

O my people

Worship

uʿ'budū (اعْبُدُوا)

Allah

l-laha (اللَّهَ)

(is) any

god

other than Him

you fear

the chiefs

he wishes

assert (his) superiority

(has) saved us

the wrongdoers

(at) a landing place

blessed

(of) those who cause to land

surely (will be) losers

that you

when

you are dead

like ourselves

while their people

waqawmuhumā (وَقَوْمُهُمَا)

for us

(are) slaves

So they denied them

in the Hereafter

the path

surely (are) deviating
