and give

wayu'tūna (وَيُؤْتُونَ)

zakah

l-zakata (الزَّكَوةَ)

and they

wahum (وَهُمْ)

in the Hereafter

bil-ākhirati (بِالْءَاخِرَةِ)

[they]

hum (هُمْ)

believe with certainty

Indeed

inna (إِنَّ)

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

(do) not

believe

yu'minūna (يُؤْمِنُونَ)

in the Hereafter

bil-ākhirati (بِالْءَاخِرَةِ)

We have made fair-seeming

zayyannā (زَيَّنَّا)

to them

lahum (لَهُمْ)

their deeds

aʿmālahum (أَعْمَالَهُمْ)

27:4:9

so they

fahum (فَهُمْ)

27:4:10

wander blindly

yaʿmahūna (يَعْمَهُونَ)

Those

ulāika (أُولَئِكَ)

(are) the ones

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

for them

(is) an evil

[the] punishment

and they

Blessed is

(is) at

the fire

and whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

(is) around it

And glory be

wasub'ḥāna (وَسُبْحَانَ)

(to) Allah

(the) Lord

your staff

(were) a snake

O Musa

Oft-Forgiving

your hand

your bosom

it will come forth

Firaun

and his people

Indeed they

innahum (إِنَّهُمْ)

are

kānū (كَانُوا)

27:12:18

a people

qawman (قَوْمًا)

defiantly disobedient

fāsiqīna (فَاسِقِينَ)

came to them

Our Signs

āyātunā (ءَايَاتُنَا)

visible

they said

This

(is) a magic

siḥ'run (سِحْرٌ)

manifest

mubīnun (مُبِينٌ)

And they rejected

wajaḥadū (وَجَحَدُوا)

them

bihā (بِهَا)

though were convinced with them (signs)

wa-is'tayqanathā (وَاسْتَيْقَنَتْهَا)

27:14:4

themselves

anfusuhum (أَنْفُسُهُمْ)

(out of) injustice

ẓul'man (ظُلْمًا)

27:14:6

and haughtiness

waʿuluwwan (وَعُلُوًّا)

fa-unẓur (فَانْظُرْ)

how

kayfa (كَيْفَ)

was

kāna (كَانَ)

(the) end

ʿāqibatu (عَاقِبَةُ)

(of) the corrupters

l-muf'sidīna (الْمُفْسِدِينَ)

And verily

We gave

ātaynā (ءَاتَيْنَا)

Dawood

and Sulaiman

wasulaymāna (وَسُلَيْمَانَ)

knowledge

ʿil'man (عِلْمًا)

and they said

Praise be

to Allah

lillahi (لِلَّهِ)

the One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

has favored us

faḍḍalanā (فَضَّلَنَا)

over

ʿalā (عَلَى)

many

kathīrin (كَثِيرٍ)

27:15:13

of

min (مِنْ)

27:15:14

His servants

ʿibādihi (عِبَادِهِ)

27:15:15

the believers

l-mu'minīna (الْمُؤْمِنِينَ)

And inherited

wawaritha (وَوَرِثَ)

Sulaiman

Dawood

and we have been given

waūtīnā (وَأُوتِينَا)

Indeed

this

surely it

(is) the favor

l-faḍlu (الْفَضْلُ)

evident

l-mubīnu (الْمُبِينُ)

his hosts

I may thank You

(for) Your Favor

niʿ'mataka (نِعْمَتَكَ)

which

You have bestowed

anʿamta (أَنْعَمْتَ)

on me

ʿalayya (عَلَيَّ)

and on

my parents

wālidayya (وَالِدَيَّ)

and that

wa-an (وَأَنْ)

I may do

aʿmala (أَعْمَلَ)

27:19:18

righteous (deeds)

ṣāliḥan (صَالِحًا)

27:19:19

that will please You

tarḍāhu (تَرْضَاهُ)

And admit me

wa-adkhil'nī (وَأَدْخِلْنِي)

27:19:21

by Your Mercy

biraḥmatika (بِرَحْمَتِكَ)

27:19:22

among

fī (فِي)

27:19:23

Your slaves

ʿibādika (عِبَادِكَ)

27:19:24

righteous

l-ṣāliḥīna (الصَّالِحِينَ)

27:20:1

And he inspected

watafaqqada (وَتَفَقَّدَ)

the birds

l-ṭayra (الطَّيْرَ)

and said

Why

and I have come to you

waji'tuka (وَجِئْتُكَ)

and she has been given

thing

and for her

(is) a throne

ʿarshun (عَرْشٌ)

great

ʿaẓīmun (عَظِيمٌ)

And I found her

wajadttuhā (وَجَدْتُهَا)

and her people

waqawmahā (وَقَوْمَهَا)

27:24:3

prostrating

yasjudūna (يَسْجُدُونَ)

to the sun

lilshamsi (لِلشَّمْسِ)

27:24:5

from

min (مِنْ)

27:24:6

instead

dūni (دُونِ)

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

and has made fair-seeming

wazayyana (وَزَيَّنَ)

to them

lahumu (لَهُمُ)

the Shaitaan

l-shayṭānu (الشَّيْطَانُ)

their deeds

aʿmālahum (أَعْمَالَهُمْ)

and averted them

faṣaddahum (فَصَدَّهُمْ)

the Way

l-sabīli (السَّبِيلِ)

(are) not

guided

That not

allā (أَلَّا)

they prostrate

to Allah

lillahi (لِلَّهِ)

the One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

brings forth

yukh'riju (يُخْرِجُ)

the hidden

l-khaba-a (الْخَبْءَ)

in

fī (فِي)

27:25:8

the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

27:25:9

and the earth

wal-arḍi (وَالْأَرْضِ)

27:25:10

and knows

wayaʿlamu (وَيَعْلَمُ)

27:25:11

what

you conceal

tukh'fūna (تُخْفُونَ)

and what

wamā (وَمَا)

you declare

Allah

(there is) no

god

(of) the Throne

the Great

We will see

whether you speak (the) truth

you are

of

mina (مِنَ)

27:27:7

the liars

l-kādhibīna (الْكَاذِبِينَ)

a town

they ruin it

and make

wajaʿalū (وَجَعَلُوا)

(the) most honorable

aʿizzata (أَعِزَّةَ)

(of) its people

ahlihā (أَهْلِهَا)

(the) lowest

adhillatan (أَذِلَّةً)

with what

Will you provide me

with wealth

Allah

khayrun (خَيْرٌ)

He has given you

Nay

rejoice

tafraḥūna (تَفْرَحُونَ)

and surely we will drive them out

walanukh'rijannahum (وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُمْ)

from there

(in) humiliation

and they

(will be) abased

whether I am grateful

a-ashkuru (ءَأَشْكُرُ)

or

am (أَمْ)

I am ungrateful

akfuru (أَكْفُرُ)

And whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

(is) grateful

shakara (شَكَرَ)

then only

fa-innamā (فَإِنَّمَا)

he is grateful

yashkuru (يَشْكُرُ)

for his own soul

linafsihi (لِنَفْسِهِ)

And whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

(is) ungrateful

then indeed

(is) Self-sufficient

Noble

whether she will be guided

those who

Muslims

Salih

the evil

the good

l-ḥasanati (الْحَسَنَةِ)

you ask forgiveness

receive mercy

(are) a people

the city

family heads

they were spreading corruption

the land

and not

reforming

yuṣ'liḥūna (يُصْلِحُونَ)

Swear to each other

taqāsamū (تَقَاسَمُوا)

by Allah

bil-lahi (بِاللَّهِ)

surely we will attack him by night

lanubayyitannahu (لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُ)

and his family

wa-ahlahu (وَأَهْلَهُ)

27:49:6

Then

thumma (ثُمَّ)

27:49:7

we will surely say

lanaqūlanna (لَنَقُولَنَّ)

to his heir

liwaliyyihi (لِوَلِيِّهِ)

27:49:9

Not

mā (مَا)

27:49:10

we witnessed

shahid'nā (شَهِدْنَا)

(the) destruction

mahlika (مَهْلِكَ)

(of) his family

ahlihi (أَهْلِهِ)

and indeed we

wa-innā (وَإِنَّا)

(are) surely truthful

laṣādiqūna (لَصَادِقُونَ)

So they plotted

a plot

and We planned

wamakarnā (وَمَكَرْنَا)

a plan

while they

wahum (وَهُمْ)

(did) not

lā (لَا)

perceive

yashʿurūna (يَشْعُرُونَ)

(of) their plot

(are) their houses

ruined

they wronged

ẓalamū (ظَلَمُوا)

Indeed

that

surely is a sign

laāyatan (لَءَايَةً)

27:52:10

for a people

liqawmin (لِقَوْمٍ)

who know

yaʿlamūna (يَعْلَمُونَ)

And We saved

wa-anjaynā (وَأَنْجَيْنَا)

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

27:53:3

believed

āmanū (ءَامَنُوا)

27:53:4

and used (to)

wakānū (وَكَانُوا)

27:53:5

fear (Allah)

yattaqūna (يَتَّقُونَ)

27:54:1

And Lut

walūṭan (وَلُوطًا)

ل و ط (root)

27:54:2

when

he said

to his people

Do you commit

who keep clean and pure

and his family

wa-ahlahu (وَأَهْلَهُ)

except

his wife

im'ra-atahu (امْرَأَتَهُ)

We destined her

whom

wills

Allah

And all

wakullun (وَكُلٌّ)

(will) come to Him

atawhu (أَتَوْهُ)

humbled

the mountains

Whoever

(will be) better

and they

(the) terror

fazaʿin (فَزَعٍ)

(of) that Day

yawma-idhin (يَوْمَئِذٍ)

(will be) safe

āminūna (ءَامِنُونَ)

And whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

with the evil

bil-sayi-ati (بِالسَّيِّئَةِ)

will be cast down

I am commanded

I worship

(the) Lord

rabba (رَبَّ)

(of) this

hādhihi (هَذِهِ)

city

l-baldati (الْبَلْدَةِ)

the One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

made it sacred

ḥarramahā (حَرَّمَهَا)

and to Him (belongs)

walahu (وَلَهُ)

all

kullu (كُلُّ)

things

shayin (شَيْءٍ)

And I am commanded

wa-umir'tu (وَأُمِرْتُ)

that

an (أَنْ)

27:91:15

I be

akūna (أَكُونَ)

mina (مِنَ)

the Muslims

l-mus'limīna (الْمُسْلِمِينَ)

27:92:1

And that

wa-an (وَأَنْ)

I recite

atluwā (أَتْلُوَ)

the Quran

l-qur'āna (الْقُرْءَانَ)

And whoever

famani (فَمَنِ)

accepts guidance

ih'tadā (اهْتَدَى)

then only

fa-innamā (فَإِنَّمَا)

27:92:7

he accepts guidance

yahtadī (يَهْتَدِي)

27:92:8

for himself

linafsihi (لِنَفْسِهِ)

27:92:9

and whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

27:92:10

goes astray

ḍalla (ضَلَّ)

then say

faqul (فَقُلْ)

Only

innamā (إِنَّمَا)

I am

the warners
