Allah

will avail

Our Signs

so seized them

fa-akhadhahumu (فَأَخَذَهُمُ)

Allah

for their sins

bidhunūbihim (بِذُنُوبِهِمْ)

And Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

(is) severe

Say

to those who

lilladhīna (لِلَّذِينَ)

You will be overcome

with the sight

raya (رَأْيَ)

(of) their eyes

l-ʿayni (الْعَيْنِ)

And Allah

(is an) excellent

[the] abode to return

(are) Gardens

jannātun (جَنَّاتٌ)

flows

tajrī (تَجْرِي)

from

underneath them

taḥtihā (تَحْتِهَا)

[the] rivers

l-anhāru (الْأَنْهَارُ)

abiding forever

khālidīna (خَالِدِينَ)

in it

and spouses

wa-azwājun (وَأَزْوَاجٌ)

pure

and approval

Those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

yaqūlūna (يَقُولُونَ)

3:16:3

Our Lord

rabbanā (رَبَّنَا)

Indeed we

innanā (إِنَّنَا)

(have) believed

āmannā (ءَامَنَّا)

3:16:6

so forgive

fa-igh'fir (فَاغْفِرْ)

3:16:7

for us

lanā (لَنَا)

3:16:8

our sins

dhunūbanā (ذُنُوبَنَا)

3:16:9

and save us

waqinā (وَقِنَا)

3:16:10

(from) punishment

ʿadhāba (عَذَابَ)

3:16:11

(of) the Fire

l-nāri (النَّارِ)

The patient

al-ṣābirīna (الصَّابِرِينَ)

and the truthful

wal-ṣādiqīna (وَالصَّادِقِينَ)

and the obedient

wal-qānitīna (وَالْقَانِتِينَ)

and those who spend

and those who seek forgiveness

those who

were given

the Book

except

illā (إِلَّا)

(is)

came to them

jāahumu (جَاءَهُمُ)

[the] knowledge

out of envy

among them

And whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

disbelieves

yakfur (يَكْفُرْ)

in (the) Verses

biāyāti (بِءَايَاتِ)

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

then indeed

fa-inna (فَإِنَّ)

3:19:24

Allah

l-laha (اللَّهَ)

(is) swift

sarīʿu (سَرِيعُ)

3:19:26

(in taking) account

l-ḥisābi (الْحِسَابِ)

3:20:1

Then if

fa-in (فَإِنْ)

3:20:2

they argue with you

ḥājjūka (حَاجُّوكَ)

3:20:3

then say

faqul (فَقُلْ)

3:20:4

I have submitted

aslamtu (أَسْلَمْتُ)

3:20:5

myself

wajhiya (وَجْهِيَ)

3:20:6

to Allah

lillahi (لِلَّهِ)

3:20:7

and (those) who

wamani (وَمَنِ)

3:20:8

follow me

ittabaʿani (اتَّبَعَنِ)

3:20:9

And say

waqul (وَقُلْ)

3:20:10

to those who

lilladhīna (لِلَّذِينَ)

3:20:11

were given

ūtū (أُوتُوا)

3:20:12

the Book

l-kitāba (الْكِتَابَ)

and the unlettered people

wal-umiyīna (وَالْأُمِّيِّينَ)

3:20:14

Have you submitted yourselves

Then if

fa-in (فَإِنْ)

3:20:16

they submit

aslamū (أَسْلَمُوا)

3:20:17

then surely

faqadi (فَقَدِ)

3:20:18

they are guided

ih'tadaw (اهْتَدَوْا)

3:20:19

But if

wa-in (وَإِنْ)

3:20:20

they turn back

tawallaw (تَوَلَّوْا)

3:20:21

then only

fa-innamā (فَإِنَّمَا)

3:20:22

on you

ʿalayka (عَلَيْكَ)

(is) to [the] convey

l-balāghu (الْبَلَاغُ)

disbelieve

Allah

and they kill

the Prophets

l-nabiyīna (النَّبِيِّينَ)

without

right

and they kill

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

[with] justice

(is) Oft-Forgiving

Most Merciful

and the leper

(to) the dead

by (the) permission

And I inform you

you eat

you store

And confirming

And I (have) come to you

with a sign

fa-ittaqū (فَاتَّقُوا)

You revealed

and we follow[ed]

the Messenger

the witnesses

you were

differing

those who

then I will punish them

(with) a punishment

and those who

And Allah

(is) a Guardian

(is) All-Encompassing

you entrust him

with a great amount of wealth

biqinṭārin (بِقِنْطَارٍ)

he will return it

to you

And from them

worshippers

the Book

you have been

studying (it)

tadrusūna (تَدْرُسُونَ)

and the Prophets

Would he order you

ayamurukum (أَيَأْمُرُكُمْ)

to [the] disbelief

bil-kuf'ri (بِالْكُفْرِ)

3:80:10

after

baʿda (بَعْدَ)

3:80:11

[when]

you (have become)

antum (أَنْتُمْ)

Muslims

and wisdom

waḥik'matin (وَحِكْمَةٍ)

then

thumma (ثُمَّ)

3:81:12

comes to you

jāakum (جَاءَكُمْ)

3:81:13

a Messenger

rasūlun (رَسُولٌ)

3:81:14

confirming

muṣaddiqun (مُصَدِّقٌ)

3:81:15

that which

limā (لِمَا)

3:81:16

(is) with you

maʿakum (مَعَكُمْ)

3:81:17

you must believe

latu'minunna (لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ)

3:81:18

in him

bihi (بِهِ)

3:81:19

and you must help him

walatanṣurunnahu (وَلَتَنْصُرُنَّهُ)

3:81:20

the heavens

and the earth

wal-arḍi (وَالْأَرْضِ)

willingly

or unwillingly

wakarhan (وَكَرْهًا)

and towards Him

they will be returned

[the] Islam

(as) religion

falan (فَلَنْ)

will be accepted

yuq'bala (يُقْبَلَ)

from him

min'hu (مِنْهُ)

and he

the Hereafter

the clear proofs

And Allah

the people

[the] wrongdoers

disbelieved

the mankind

(is) pilgrimage

(of) the House

l-bayti (الْبَيْتِ)

the right

and forbidding

Allah

injustice

to the worlds

lil'ʿālamīna (لِلْعَالَمِينَ)

And to Allah (belongs)

walillahi (وَلِلَّهِ)

whatever

(is) in

the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

and whatever

wamā (وَمَا)

3:109:6

(is) in

the earth

l-arḍi (الْأَرْضِ)

And to

wa-ilā (وَإِلَى)

Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

will be returned

the matters

l-umūru (الْأُمُورُ)

You are

kuntum (كُنْتُمْ)

(the) best

khayra (خَيْرَ)

(of) people

ummatin (أُمَّةٍ)

raised

ukh'rijat (أُخْرِجَتْ)

for the mankind

lilnnāsi (لِلنَّاسِ)

enjoining

tamurūna (تَأْمُرُونَ)

the right

bil-maʿrūfi (بِالْمَعْرُوفِ)

and forbidding

good

for them

lahum (لَهُمْ)

Among them

min'humu (مِنْهُمُ)

(are) [the] believers

l-mu'minūna (الْمُؤْمِنُونَ)

3:110:22

but most of them

wa-aktharuhumu (وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ)

3:110:23

(are) defiantly disobedient

l-fāsiqūna (الْفَاسِقُونَ)

helped you

naṣarakumu (نَصَرَكُمُ)

Allah

in Badr

And to Allah (belongs)

walillahi (وَلِلَّهِ)

the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

and what

wamā (وَمَا)

3:129:6

(is) in

fī (فِي)

3:129:7

the earth

l-arḍi (الْأَرْضِ)

3:129:8

He forgives

yaghfiru (يَغْفِرُ)

3:129:9

[for] whom

liman (لِمَنْ)

3:129:10

He wills

yashāu (يَشَاءُ)

3:129:11

and punishes

wayuʿadhibu (وَيُعَذِّبُ)

3:129:12

whom

man (مَنْ)

3:129:13

He wills

yashāu (يَشَاءُ)

3:129:14

And Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

3:129:15

(is) Oft-Forgiving

ghafūrun (غَفُورٌ)

3:129:16

Most Merciful

raḥīmun (رَحِيمٌ)

3:130:1

O you

yāayyuhā (يَاأَيُّهَا)

3:130:2

who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

3:130:3

believe

āmanū (ءَامَنُوا)

3:130:4

(Do) not

lā (لَا)

3:130:5

eat

takulū (تَأْكُلُوا)

the usury

l-riba (الرِّبَوا)

ر ب و (root)

3:130:7

doubled

aḍʿāfan (أَضْعَافًا)

ض ع ف (root)

3:130:8

multiplied

muḍāʿafatan (مُضَاعَفَةً)

ض ع ف (root)

3:130:9

And fear

wa-ittaqū (وَاتَّقُوا)

3:130:10

Allah

l-laha (اللَّهَ)

3:130:11

so that you may

laʿallakum (لَعَلَّكُمْ)

3:130:12

(be) successful

tuf'liḥūna (تُفْلِحُونَ)

And fear

wa-ittaqū (وَاتَّقُوا)

3:131:2

the Fire

l-nāra (النَّارَ)

3:131:3

which

allatī (الَّتِي)

is prepared

for the disbelievers

lil'kāfirīna (لِلْكَافِرِينَ)

And obey

wa-aṭīʿū (وَأَطِيعُوا)

Allah

l-laha (اللَّهَ)

3:132:3

and the Messenger

wal-rasūla (وَالرَّسُولَ)

3:132:4

so that you may

laʿallakum (لَعَلَّكُمْ)

3:132:5

receive mercy

tur'ḥamūna (تُرْحَمُونَ)

3:133:1

And hasten

wasāriʿū (وَسَارِعُوا)

3:133:2

to

ilā (إِلَى)

3:133:3

forgiveness

maghfiratin (مَغْفِرَةٍ)

3:133:4

from

min (مِنْ)

3:133:5

your Lord

rabbikum (رَبِّكُمْ)

3:133:6

and a Garden

wajannatin (وَجَنَّةٍ)

3:133:7

its width

ʿarḍuhā (عَرْضُهَا)

(is like that of) the heavens

l-samāwātu (السَّمَاوَاتُ)

3:133:9

and the earth

wal-arḍu (وَالْأَرْضُ)

3:133:10

prepared

uʿiddat (أُعِدَّتْ)

for the pious

lil'muttaqīna (لِلْمُتَّقِينَ)

3:134:1

Those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

3:134:2

spend

yunfiqūna (يُنْفِقُونَ)

3:134:3

in

fī (فِي)

[the] ease

l-sarāi (السَّرَّاءِ)

and (in) the hardship

wal-ḍarāi (وَالضَّرَّاءِ)

3:134:6

and those who restrain

wal-kāẓimīna (وَالْكَاظِمِينَ)

the anger

l-ghayẓa (الْغَيْظَ)

3:134:8

and those who pardon

wal-ʿāfīna (وَالْعَافِينَ)

3:134:9

the people

l-nāsi (النَّاسِ)

3:134:11

and Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

3:134:12

loves

yuḥibbu (يُحِبُّ)

3:134:13

the good-doers

l-muḥ'sinīna (الْمُحْسِنِينَ)

3:135:1

And those

wa-alladhīna (وَالَّذِينَ)

3:135:2

when

idhā (إِذَا)

3:135:3

they did

faʿalū (فَعَلُوا)

3:135:4

immorality

fāḥishatan (فَاحِشَةً)

ف ح ش (root)

3:135:5

or

aw (أَوْ)

3:135:6

wronged

ẓalamū (ظَلَمُوا)

3:135:7

themselves

anfusahum (أَنْفُسَهُمْ)

3:135:8

they remember

dhakarū (ذَكَرُوا)

3:135:9

Allah

l-laha (اللَّهَ)

3:135:10

then ask forgiveness

fa-is'taghfarū (فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا)

3:135:11

for their sins

lidhunūbihim (لِذُنُوبِهِمْ)

3:135:12

and who

waman (وَمَنْ)

3:135:13

(can) forgive

yaghfiru (يَغْفِرُ)

3:135:14

the sins

l-dhunūba (الذُّنُوبَ)

3:135:15

except

illā (إِلَّا)

3:135:16

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

3:135:17

And not

walam (وَلَمْ)

3:135:18

they persist

yuṣirrū (يُصِرُّوا)

they did

(is) forgiveness

their Lord

rabbihim (رَبِّهِمْ)

and Gardens

wajannātun (وَجَنَّاتٌ)

3:136:7

flows

tajrī (تَجْرِي)

3:136:8

from

underneath it

taḥtihā (تَحْتِهَا)

3:136:10

the rivers

l-anhāru (الْأَنْهَارُ)

3:136:11

abiding forever

khālidīna (خَالِدِينَ)

3:136:12

in it

fīhā (فِيهَا)

3:136:13

And an excellent

waniʿ'ma (وَنِعْمَ)

3:136:14

reward

ajru (أَجْرُ)

(for) the (righteous) workers

l-ʿāmilīna (الْعَامِلِينَ)

3:137:1

Verily

passed

khalat (خَلَتْ)

(of) the deniers

l-mukadhibīna (الْمُكَذِّبِينَ)

This

(is) a declaration

bayānun (بَيَانٌ)

3:138:3

for the people

lilnnāsi (لِلنَّاسِ)

3:138:4

and guidance

wahudan (وَهُدًى)

3:138:5

and admonition

wamawʿiẓatun (وَمَوْعِظَةٌ)

for the God-fearing

lil'muttaqīna (لِلْمُتَّقِينَ)

3:139:1

And (do) not

walā (وَلَا)

weaken

tahinū (تَهِنُوا)

and (do) not

walā (وَلَا)

3:139:4

grieve

taḥzanū (تَحْزَنُوا)

3:139:5

and you (will be)

wa-antumu (وَأَنْتُمُ)

3:139:6

[the] superior

l-aʿlawna (الْأَعْلَوْنَ)

3:139:7

if

you are

kuntum (كُنْتُمْ)

3:139:9

believers

mu'minīna (مُؤْمِنِينَ)

3:140:1

If

in (إِنْ)

3:140:2

touched you

yamsaskum (يَمْسَسْكُمْ)

a wound

qarḥun (قَرْحٌ)

so certainly

faqad (فَقَدْ)

(has) touched

massa (مَسَّ)

the people

l-qawma (الْقَوْمَ)

wound

And this

watil'ka (وَتِلْكَ)

[the] days

l-ayāmu (الْأَيَّامُ)

We alternate them

bayna (بَيْنَ)

the people

l-nāsi (النَّاسِ)

3:140:14

[and] so that makes evident

waliyaʿlama (وَلِيَعْلَمَ)

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

3:140:17

believe[d]

āmanū (ءَامَنُوا)

3:140:18

and take

wayattakhidha (وَيَتَّخِذَ)

3:140:19

from you

minkum (مِنْكُمْ)

3:140:20

martyrs

shuhadāa (شُهَدَاءَ)

3:140:21

And Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

3:140:22

(does) not

lā (لَا)

3:140:23

love

yuḥibbu (يُحِبُّ)

3:140:24

the wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna (الظَّالِمِينَ)

3:141:1

And so that may purify

waliyumaḥḥiṣa (وَلِيُمَحِّصَ)

Allah

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

believe

āmanū (ءَامَنُوا)

and destroy

the disbelievers

do you think

ḥasib'tum (حَسِبْتُمْ)

you will enter

tadkhulū (تَدْخُلُوا)

Paradise

l-janata (الْجَنَّةَ)

3:142:6

while has not yet

walammā (وَلَمَّا)

3:142:7

made evident

yaʿlami (يَعْلَمِ)

3:142:8

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

3:142:9

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

3:142:10

strove hard

jāhadū (جَاهَدُوا)

among you

minkum (مِنْكُمْ)

3:142:12

and made evident

wayaʿlama (وَيَعْلَمَ)

3:142:13

the steadfast

l-ṣābirīna (الصَّابِرِينَ)

3:143:1

And certainly

walaqad (وَلَقَدْ)

3:143:2

you used to

kuntum (كُنْتُمْ)

3:143:3

wish

tamannawna (تَمَنَّوْنَ)

(for) death

l-mawta (الْمَوْتَ)

from

you met it

then indeed

faqad (فَقَدْ)

you have seen it

ra-aytumūhu (رَأَيْتُمُوهُ)

while you (were)

wa-antum (وَأَنْتُمْ)

looking on

tanẓurūna (تَنْظُرُونَ)

3:144:1

And not

wamā (وَمَا)

3:144:2

(is) Muhammad

muḥammadun (مُحَمَّدٌ)

except

illā (إِلَّا)

3:144:4

a Messenger

rasūlun (رَسُولٌ)

3:144:5

certainly

qad (قَدْ)

3:144:6

passed away

khalat (خَلَتْ)

before him

qablihi (قَبْلِهِ)

3:144:9

[the] (other) Messengers

l-rusulu (الرُّسُلُ)

3:144:10

So if

afa-in (أَفَإِينْ)

he died

or

aw (أَوْ)

3:144:13

is slain

qutila (قُتِلَ)

3:144:14

will you turn back

inqalabtum (انْقَلَبْتُمْ)

3:144:15

on

ʿalā (عَلَى)

3:144:16

your heels

aʿqābikum (أَعْقَابِكُمْ)

3:144:17

And whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

3:144:18

turns back

yanqalib (يَنْقَلِبْ)

3:144:19

on

ʿalā (عَلَى)

3:144:20

his heels

ʿaqibayhi (عَقِبَيْهِ)

3:144:21

then never

falan (فَلَنْ)

3:144:22

will he harm

yaḍurra (يَضُرَّ)

3:144:23

Allah

l-laha (اللَّهَ)

3:144:24

(in) anything

shayan (شَيْئًا)

3:144:25

And will reward

wasayajzī (وَسَيَجْزِي)

3:144:26

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

3:144:27

the grateful ones

l-shākirīna (الشَّاكِرِينَ)

And not

wamā (وَمَا)

3:145:2

is

kāna (كَانَ)

for a soul

linafsin (لِنَفْسٍ)

3:145:4

that

an (أَنْ)

he dies

tamūta (تَمُوتَ)

except

illā (إِلَّا)

3:145:7

by (the) permission

bi-idh'ni (بِإِذْنِ)

3:145:8

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

3:145:9

(at a) decree

kitāban (كِتَابًا)

3:145:10

determined

mu-ajjalan (مُؤَجَّلًا)

3:145:11

And whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

3:145:12

desires

yurid (يُرِدْ)

3:145:13

reward

thawāba (ثَوَابَ)

3:145:14

(of) the world

l-dun'yā (الدُّنْيَا)

3:145:15

We will give him

nu'tihi (نُؤْتِهِ)

3:145:16

thereof

min'hā (مِنْهَا)

3:145:17

and whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

3:145:18

desires

yurid (يُرِدْ)

3:145:19

reward

thawāba (ثَوَابَ)

3:145:20

(of) the Hereafter

l-ākhirati (الْءَاخِرَةِ)

3:145:21

We will give him

nu'tihi (نُؤْتِهِ)

3:145:22

thereof

min'hā (مِنْهَا)

3:145:23

And We will reward

wasanajzī (وَسَنَجْزِي)

3:145:24

the grateful ones

l-shākirīna (الشَّاكِرِينَ)

a Prophet

(were) religious scholars

ribbiyyūna (رِبِّيُّونَ)

3:146:7

many

kathīrun (كَثِيرٌ)

3:146:8

But not

famā (فَمَا)

3:146:9

they lost heart

wahanū (وَهَنُوا)

for what

limā (لِمَا)

3:146:11

befell them

aṣābahum (أَصَابَهُمْ)

3:146:12

in

fī (فِي)

3:146:13

(the) way

sabīli (سَبِيلِ)

3:146:14

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

3:146:15

and not

wamā (وَمَا)

3:146:16

they weakened

ḍaʿufū (ضَعُفُوا)

3:146:17

and not

wamā (وَمَا)

3:146:18

they gave in

is'takānū (اسْتَكَانُوا)

And Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

loves

yuḥibbu (يُحِبُّ)

the patient ones

l-ṣābirīna (الصَّابِرِينَ)

3:147:1

And not

wamā (وَمَا)

3:147:2

were

kāna (كَانَ)

3:147:3

their words

qawlahum (قَوْلَهُمْ)

3:147:4

except

illā (إِلَّا)

3:147:5

that

an (أَنْ)

3:147:6

they said

qālū (قَالُوا)

3:147:7

Our Lord

rabbanā (رَبَّنَا)

3:147:8

forgive

igh'fir (اغْفِرْ)

3:147:9

for us

lanā (لَنَا)

3:147:10

our sins

dhunūbanā (ذُنُوبَنَا)

3:147:11

and our excesses

wa-is'rāfanā (وَإِسْرَافَنَا)

in

our affairs

amrinā (أَمْرِنَا)

3:147:14

and make firm

wathabbit (وَثَبِّتْ)

our feet

and give us victory

wa-unṣur'nā (وَانْصُرْنَا)

over

the disbelievers

So gave them

faātāhumu (فَءَاتَاهُمُ)

3:148:2

Allah

reward

thawāba (ثَوَابَ)

3:148:4

(in) the world

l-dun'yā (الدُّنْيَا)

3:148:5

and good

waḥus'na (وَحُسْنَ)

3:148:6

reward

thawābi (ثَوَابِ)

3:148:7

(in) the Hereafter

l-ākhirati (الْءَاخِرَةِ)

3:148:8

And Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

3:148:9

loves

yuḥibbu (يُحِبُّ)

3:148:10

the good-doers

l-muḥ'sinīna (الْمُحْسِنِينَ)

O you

they will turn you back

Allah

(is) your Protector

(is the) best

khayru (خَيْرُ)

(of) the Helpers

l-nāṣirīna (النَّاصِرِينَ)

3:151:1

We will cast

sanul'qī (سَنُلْقِي)

3:151:2

in

fī (فِي)

3:151:3

(the) hearts

qulūbi (قُلُوبِ)

3:151:4

(of) those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

3:151:5

disbelieve

kafarū (كَفَرُوا)

3:151:6

[the] terror

l-ruʿ'ba (الرُّعْبَ)

because

bimā (بِمَا)

3:151:8

they associated partners

ashrakū (أَشْرَكُوا)

3:151:9

with Allah

bil-lahi (بِاللَّهِ)

He sent down

yunazzil (يُنَزِّلْ)

3:151:13

about it

bihi (بِهِ)

3:151:14

any authority

sul'ṭānan (سُلْطَانًا)

and their refuge

wamawāhumu (وَمَأْوَاهُمُ)

(will be) the Fire

l-nāru (النَّارُ)

3:151:17

and wretched

wabi'sa (وَبِئْسَ)

3:151:18

(is the) abode

mathwā (مَثْوَى)

3:151:19

[of] the wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna (الظَّالِمِينَ)

3:152:1

And certainly

walaqad (وَلَقَدْ)

3:152:2

fulfilled to you

ṣadaqakumu (صَدَقَكُمُ)

3:152:3

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

His promise

waʿdahu (وَعْدَهُ)

3:152:5

when

you were killing them

taḥussūnahum (تَحُسُّونَهُمْ)

by His permission

bi-idh'nihi (بِإِذْنِهِ)

until

ḥattā (حَتَّى)

you lost courage

fashil'tum (فَشِلْتُمْ)

and you fell into dispute

watanāzaʿtum (وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ)

concerning

the order

and you disobeyed

waʿaṣaytum (وَعَصَيْتُمْ)

He (had) shown you

man (مَنْ)

desire

the world

and among you

waminkum (وَمِنْكُمْ)

3:152:26

(are some) who

man (مَنْ)

3:152:27

desire

yurīdu (يُرِيدُ)

3:152:28

the Hereafter

l-ākhirata (الْءَاخِرَةَ)

3:152:29

Then

thumma (ثُمَّ)

3:152:30

He diverted you

ṣarafakum (صَرَفَكُمْ)

from them

ʿanhum (عَنْهُمْ)

3:152:32

so that He may test you

made them slip

All-Forbearing

they traveled

a regret

ḥasratan (حَسْرَةً)

their hearts

And Allah

gives life

and Allah

of what

(is) All-Seer

baṣīrun (بَصِيرٌ)

(the) way

and Mercy

waraḥmatun (وَرَحْمَةٌ)

(are) better

khayrun (خَيْرٌ)

than what

mimmā (مِمَّا)

they accumulate

yajmaʿūna (يَجْمَعُونَ)

3:158:1

And if

wala-in (وَلَئِنْ)

you die

are killed

qutil'tum (قُتِلْتُمْ)

surely to

la-ilā (لَإِلَى)

Allah

you will be gathered

rude

(and) harsh

ghalīẓa (غَلِيظَ)

(at) [the] heart

l-qalbi (الْقَلْبِ)

3:159:12

surely they (would have) dispersed

la-infaḍḍū (لَانْفَضُّوا)

ف ض ض (root)

3:159:13

from

min (مِنْ)

around you

ḥawlika (حَوْلِكَ)

ح و ل (root)

3:159:15

Then pardon

fa-uʿ'fu (فَاعْفُ)

3:159:16

[from] them

ʿanhum (عَنْهُمْ)

3:159:17

and ask forgiveness

wa-is'taghfir (وَاسْتَغْفِرْ)

3:159:18

for them

lahum (لَهُمْ)

3:159:19

and consult them

washāwir'hum (وَشَاوِرْهُمْ)

Indeed

yuḥibbu (يُحِبُّ)

the ones who put trust (in Him)

l-mutawakilīna (الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ)

3:160:1

If

helps you

yanṣur'kumu (يَنْصُرْكُمُ)

3:160:3

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

then not

falā (فَلَا)

(can) overcome

ghāliba (غَالِبَ)

[for] you

lakum (لَكُمْ)

and if

wa-in (وَإِنْ)

He forsakes you

yakhdhul'kum (يَخْذُلْكُمْ)

then who

faman (فَمَنْ)

(is)

dhā (ذَا)

the one who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

can help you

yanṣurukum (يَنْصُرُكُمْ)

after Him

And on

waʿalā (وَعَلَى)

Allah

let put (their) trust

falyatawakkali (فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ)

3:160:18

the believers

l-mu'minūna (الْمُؤْمِنُونَ)

3:161:1

And not

wamā (وَمَا)

for a Prophet

linabiyyin (لِنَبِيٍّ)

3:161:4

that

he defrauds

yaghulla (يَغُلَّ)

defrauds

will bring

surely

twice of it

(was) by (the) permission

and that He (might) make evident

the believers

And that He (might) make evident

(are) hypocrites

nāfaqū (نَافَقُوا)

Rejoicing

against you

so fear them

But it increased them

(in) faith

Sufficient for us

(is) Allah

and (He is the) best

waniʿ'ma (وَنِعْمَ)

[the] Disposer of affairs

l-wakīlu (الْوَكِيلُ)

3:174:1

So they returned

fa-inqalabū (فَانْقَلَبُوا)

with (the) Favor

biniʿ'matin (بِنِعْمَةٍ)

mina (مِنَ)

Allah

and Bounty

touched them

any harm

but fear Me

wakhāfūni (وَخَافُونِ)

grieve you

and the earth

And Allah

(is) All-Aware

Those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

Indeed

Allah

(has) taken promise

we (should) believe

in a Messenger

he brings to us

a sacrifice

the fire

you killed them

qataltumūhum (قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ)

you are

truthful

they reject you

[the] Enlightening

(will) taste

you will be paid in full

(on the) Day

(of) [the] Resurrection

is drawn away

the Fire

and admitted

(to) Paradise

he is successful

associate partners with Allah

hurtful things

kathīran (كَثِيرًا)

and if

wa-in (وَإِنْ)

you are patient

taṣbirū (تَصْبِرُوا)

and fear (Allah)

watattaqū (وَتَتَّقُوا)

then indeed

fa-inna (فَإِنَّ)

to the mankind

lilnnāsi (لِلنَّاسِ)

and (do) not

walā (وَلَا)

3:187:11

conceal it

taktumūnahu (تَكْتُمُونَهُ)

Then they threw it

and the earth

and Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

thing

shayin (شَيْءٍ)

All-Powerful

qadīrun (قَدِيرٌ)

Indeed

(the) creation

khalqi (خَلْقِ)

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

and the earth

wal-arḍi (وَالْأَرْضِ)

and (in the) alternation

wa-ikh'tilāfi (وَاخْتِلَافِ)

3:190:7

(of) the night

al-layli (اللَّيْلِ)

3:190:8

and the day

wal-nahāri (وَالنَّهَارِ)

3:190:9

(are) surely Signs

laāyātin (لَءَايَاتٍ)

3:190:10

for men

li-ulī (لِأُولِي)

3:190:11

(of) understanding

l-albābi (الْأَلْبَابِ)

Those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

remember

yadhkurūna (يَذْكُرُونَ)

Allah

standing

waquʿūdan (وَقُعُودًا)

for the wrongdoers

to the faith

Believe

so we have believed

faāmannā (فَءَامَنَّا)

so forgive

fa-igh'fir (فَاغْفِرْ)

for us

our sins

and remove

from us

our evil deeds

and cause us to die

the righteous

and were driven out

their homes

and were harmed

and fought

and were killed

from them

ʿanhum (عَنْهُمْ)

their evil deeds

sayyiātihim (سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ)

and surely I will admit them

wala-ud'khilannahum (وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ)

3:195:31

(to) Gardens

jannātin (جَنَّاتٍ)

3:195:32

flowing

tajrī (تَجْرِي)

3:195:33

from

min (مِنْ)

3:195:34

underneath them

taḥtihā (تَحْتِهَا)

3:195:35

the rivers

l-anhāru (الْأَنْهَارُ)

3:195:36

a reward

thawāban (ثَوَابًا)

from

Allah

(will be) Gardens

jannātun (جَنَّاتٌ)

flows

the rivers

l-anhāru (الْأَنْهَارُ)

will abide forever

a hospitality

to you

to them

humbly submissive
