(is) deafness

(is) a screen

your god

(is) God

ilāhun (إِلَهٌ)

One

wāḥidun (وَاحِدٌ)

so take a Straight Path

fa-is'taqīmū (فَاسْتَقِيمُوا)

41:6:13

to Him

ilayhi (إِلَيْهِ)

41:6:14

and ask His forgiveness

wa-is'taghfirūhu (وَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ)

And woe

wawaylun (وَوَيْلٌ)

to the polytheists

lil'mush'rikīna (لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ)

Those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

(do) not

lā (لَا)

41:7:3

give

yu'tūna (يُؤْتُونَ)

41:7:4

the zakah

l-zakata (الزَّكَوةَ)

and they

wahum (وَهُمْ)

41:7:6

in the Hereafter

bil-ākhirati (بِالْءَاخِرَةِ)

they

hum (هُمْ)

(are) disbelievers

kāfirūna (كَافِرُونَ)

Indeed

inna (إِنَّ)

those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

believe

āmanū (ءَامَنُوا)

41:8:4

and do

waʿamilū (وَعَمِلُوا)

righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti (الصَّالِحَاتِ)

for them

(is) a reward

never

the earth

and you set up

watajʿalūna (وَتَجْعَلُونَ)

with Him

lahu (لَهُ)

rivals

andādan (أَنْدَادًا)

That

dhālika (ذَلِكَ)

(is the) Lord

rabbu (رَبُّ)

(of) the worlds

l-ʿālamīna (الْعَالَمِينَ)

And He placed

therein

fīhā (فِيهَا)

firmly-set mountains

and He blessed

Come both of you

willingly

unwillingly

We come

and He revealed

And We adorned

with lamps

and (to) guard

waḥif'ẓan (وَحِفْظًا)

(is the) Decree

taqdīru (تَقْدِيرُ)

(of) the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzi (الْعَزِيزِ)

the All-Knower

l-ʿalīmi (الْعَلِيمِ)

41:13:1

But if

fa-in (فَإِنْ)

they turn away

aʿraḍū (أَعْرَضُوا)

41:13:3

then say

faqul (فَقُلْ)

41:13:4

I have warned you

andhartukum (أَنْذَرْتُكُمْ)

(of) a thunderbolt

ṣāʿiqatan (صَاعِقَةً)

like

(the) thunderbolt

(of) Aad

and Thamud

the Messengers

l-rusulu (الرُّسُلُ)

(their) hands (before them)

and from

wamin (وَمِنْ)

behind them

(saying) Do not

allā (أَلَّا)

worship

except

illā (إِلَّا)

Allah

l-laha (اللَّهَ)

They said

(had) willed

our Lord

rabbunā (رَبُّنَا)

surely He (would have) sent down

la-anzala (لَأَنْزَلَ)

Angels

malāikatan (مَلَائِكَةً)

So indeed we

fa-innā (فَإِنَّا)

41:14:20

in what

bimā (بِمَا)

41:14:21

you have been sent

ur'sil'tum (أُرْسِلْتُمْ)

41:14:22

with

bihi (بِهِ)

(are) disbelievers

kāfirūna (كَافِرُونَ)

41:15:1

Then as for

fa-ammā (فَأَمَّا)

Aad

ʿādun (عَادٌ)

they were arrogant

fa-is'takbarū (فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا)

[the] right

and they said

waqālū (وَقَالُوا)

Who

man (مَنْ)

(is) mightier

ashaddu (أَشَدُّ)

than us

minnā (مِنَّا)

(in) strength

quwwatan (قُوَّةً)

41:15:13

Do not

awalam (أَوَلَمْ)

they see

yaraw (يَرَوْا)

41:15:15

that

anna (أَنَّ)

41:15:16

Allah

l-laha (اللَّهَ)

the One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

41:15:18

created them

khalaqahum (خَلَقَهُمْ)

41:15:19

He

huwa (هُوَ)

41:15:20

(is) Mightier

ashaddu (أَشَدُّ)

than them

min'hum (مِنْهُمْ)

41:15:22

(in) strength

quwwatan (قُوَّةً)

But they used to

wakānū (وَكَانُوا)

41:15:24

in Our Signs

biāyātinā (بِءَايَاتِنَا)

41:15:25

deny

yajḥadūna (يَجْحَدُونَ)

So We sent

fa-arsalnā (فَأَرْسَلْنَا)

41:16:2

upon them

ʿalayhim (عَلَيْهِمْ)

41:16:3

a wind

rīḥan (رِيحًا)

41:16:4

furious

ṣarṣaran (صَرْصَرًا)

ص ر ص ر (root)

41:16:5

in

fī (فِي)

41:16:6

(the) days

ayyāmin (أَيَّامٍ)

41:16:7

(of) misfortune

naḥisātin (نَحِسَاتٍ)

41:16:8

that We may make them taste

linudhīqahum (لِنُذِيقَهُمْ)

41:16:9

(the) punishment

ʿadhāba (عَذَابَ)

41:16:10

(of) disgrace

l-khiz'yi (الْخِزْيِ)

in

fī (فِي)

41:16:12

the life

l-ḥayati (الْحَيَوةِ)

41:16:13

(of) the world

l-dun'yā (الدُّنْيَا)

And surely (the) punishment

walaʿadhābu (وَلَعَذَابُ)

(of) the Hereafter

l-ākhirati (الْءَاخِرَةِ)

(is) more disgracing

and they

will be helped

Thamud

We guided them

but they preferred

[the] blindness

the guidance

l-hudā (الْهُدَى)

so seized them

fa-akhadhathum (فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ)

a thunderbolt

ṣāʿiqatu (صَاعِقَةُ)

41:17:10

(of) the punishment

l-ʿadhābi (الْعَذَابِ)

41:17:11

humiliating

l-hūni (الْهُونِ)

for what

bimā (بِمَا)

they used to

kānū (كَانُوا)

41:17:14

earn

yaksibūna (يَكْسِبُونَ)

And We saved

those who

believed

fear (Allah)

And (the) Day

wayawma (وَيَوْمَ)

will be gathered

yuḥ'sharu (يُحْشَرُ)

(the) enemies

aʿdāu (أَعْدَاءُ)

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

41:19:5

to

ilā (إِلَى)

the Fire

l-nāri (النَّارِ)

41:19:7

then they

fahum (فَهُمْ)

41:19:8

will be assembled in rows

yūzaʿūna (يُوزَعُونَ)

Until

ḥattā (حَتَّى)

ح ت ت ى (root)

when

idhā (إِذَا)

41:20:3

(from)

mā (مَا)

41:20:4

they come to it

jāūhā (جَاءُوهَا)

(will) testify

shahida (شَهِدَ)

41:20:6

against them

ʿalayhim (عَلَيْهِمْ)

41:20:7

their hearing

samʿuhum (سَمْعُهُمْ)

41:20:8

and their sight

wa-abṣāruhum (وَأَبْصَارُهُمْ)

and their skins

wajulūduhum (وَجُلُودُهُمْ)

(as) to what

they used to

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

the One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

makes speak

every

thing

and He

wahuwa (وَهُوَ)

created you

and to Him

wa-ilayhi (وَإِلَيْهِ)

you will be returned

And not

you were

kuntum (كُنْتُمْ)

41:22:3

covering yourselves

tastatirūna (تَسْتَتِرُونَ)

lest

testify

yashhada (يَشْهَدَ)

41:22:6

against you

ʿalaykum (عَلَيْكُمْ)

41:22:7

your hearing

samʿukum (سَمْعُكُمْ)

and not

walā (وَلَا)

41:22:9

your sight

abṣārukum (أَبْصَارُكُمْ)

and not

walā (وَلَا)

41:22:11

your skins

julūdukum (جُلُودُكُمْ)

but

walākin (وَلَكِنْ)

you assumed

that

Allah

about your Lord

birabbikum (بِرَبِّكُمْ)

It has ruined you

ardākum (أَرْدَاكُمْ)

and you have become

fa-aṣbaḥtum (فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ)

41:23:8

of

mina (مِنَ)

41:23:9

the losers

l-khāsirīna (الْخَاسِرِينَ)

Then if

fa-in (فَإِنْ)

41:24:2

they endure

yaṣbirū (يَصْبِرُوا)

the Fire

fal-nāru (فَالنَّارُ)

(is) an abode

mathwan (مَثْوًى)

for them

lahum (لَهُمْ)

and if

wa-in (وَإِنْ)

they ask for favor

yastaʿtibū (يَسْتَعْتِبُوا)

they

those who receive favor

(who) made fair-seeming

(so) we may put them

Our Lord

stand firm

will descend

tatanazzalu (تَتَنَزَّلُ)

on them

the Angels

l-malāikatu (الْمَلَائِكَةُ)

fear

but receive the glad tidings

A hospitable gift

than (one) who

invites

Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

and does

waʿamila (وَعَمِلَ)

41:33:9

righteous (deeds)

ṣāliḥan (صَالِحًا)

and says

Indeed I am

innanī (إِنَّنِي)

mina (مِنَ)

those who submit

l-mus'limīna (الْمُسْلِمِينَ)

And not

(are) equal

tastawī (تَسْتَوِي)

the good (deed)

l-ḥasanatu (الْحَسَنَةُ)

the evil (deed)

l-sayi-atu (السَّيِّئَةُ)

(was) enmity

(will become) as if he

(was) a friend

waliyyun (وَلِيٌّ)

intimate

it is granted

except

(to the) owner

(of) fortune

whisper comes to you

an evil suggestion

in Allah

Indeed He

(is) the All-Hearer

l-samīʿu (السَّمِيعُ)

the All-Knower

l-ʿalīmu (الْعَلِيمُ)

And of

wamin (وَمِنْ)

His Signs

āyātihi (ءَايَاتِهِ)

(are) the night

al-laylu (اللَّيْلُ)

and the day

wal-nahāru (وَالنَّهَارُ)

and the sun

wal-shamsu (وَالشَّمْسُ)

and the moon

the One Who

Him alone

they are arrogant

by night

upon it

it is stirred (to life)

and grows

(is) surely the Giver of life

(to) the dead

their ears

(is) deafness

surely would have been settled

surely (are) in

doubt

about it

disquieting

Whoever

righteous deeds

To Him

the evil

then he gives up hope

(and) despairs

mercy

an adversity

the Hour

l-sāʿata (السَّاعَةَ)

wala-in (وَلَئِنْ)

my Lord

(will be) the best

lalḥus'nā (لَلْحُسْنَى)

But We will surely inform

falanunabbi-anna (فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ)

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

disbelieved

kafarū (كَفَرُوا)

41:50:27

about what

bimā (بِمَا)

41:50:28

they did

ʿamilū (عَمِلُوا)

41:50:29

and We will make them taste

walanudhīqannahum (وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُمْ)

41:50:30

of

min (مِنْ)

41:50:31

a punishment

ʿadhābin (عَذَابٍ)

41:50:32

severe

ghalīẓin (غَلِيظٍ)

And when

wa-idhā (وَإِذَا)

We bestow

anʿamnā (أَنْعَمْنَا)

upon

ʿalā (عَلَى)

man

l-insāni (الْإِنْسَانِ)

he turns away

aʿraḍa (أَعْرَضَ)

and becomes remote

on his side

bijānibihi (بِجَانِبِهِ)

touches him
