And indeed it

wa-innahu (وَإِنَّهُ)

(is) in

(the) Mother

(of) the Book

l-kitābi (الْكِتَابِ)

with Us

ladaynā (لَدَيْنَا)

surely exalted

laʿaliyyun (لَعَلِيٌّ)

full of wisdom

ḥakīmun (حَكِيمٌ)

Then should We take away

afanaḍribu (أَفَنَضْرِبُ)

43:5:2

from you

ʿankumu (عَنْكُمُ)

the Reminder

l-dhik'ra (الذِّكْرَ)

43:5:4

disregarding (you)

ṣafḥan (صَفْحًا)

because

you are

kuntum (كُنْتُمْ)

43:5:7

a people

qawman (قَوْمًا)

43:5:8

transgressing

mus'rifīna (مُسْرِفِينَ)

And how many

wakam (وَكَمْ)

we sent

arsalnā (أَرْسَلْنَا)

43:6:3

from

min (مِنْ)

a Prophet

nabiyyin (نَبِيٍّ)

among

fī (فِي)

the former (people)

l-awalīna (الْأَوَّلِينَ)

And not

wamā (وَمَا)

came to them

yatīhim (يَأْتِيهِمْ)

from

min (مِنْ)

any Prophet

nabiyyin (نَبِيٍّ)

but

illā (إِلَّا)

they used to

kānū (كَانُوا)

mock

yastahziūna (يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ)

Then We destroyed

fa-ahlaknā (فَأَهْلَكْنَا)

stronger

than them

min'hum (مِنْهُمْ)

(in) power

baṭshan (بَطْشًا)

and has passed

wamaḍā (وَمَضَى)

(the) example

mathalu (مَثَلُ)

43:8:7

(of) the former (people)

l-awalīna (الْأَوَّلِينَ)

And if

wala-in (وَلَئِنْ)

you ask them

sa-altahum (سَأَلْتَهُمْ)

Who

man (مَنْ)

the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

and the earth

wal-arḍa (وَالْأَرْضَ)

They will surely say

Created them

khalaqahunna (خَلَقَهُنَّ)

the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzu (الْعَزِيزُ)

the All-Knower

The One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

a bed

therein

roads

subulan (سُبُلًا)

so that you may

laʿallakum (لَعَلَّكُمْ)

(be) guided

tahtadūna (تَهْتَدُونَ)

And the One Who

wa-alladhī (وَالَّذِي)

sends down

from

mina (مِنَ)

the sky

water

māan (مَاءً)

then We revive

fa-ansharnā (فَأَنْشَرْنَا)

with it

a land

baldatan (بَلْدَةً)

dead

maytan (مَيْتًا)

thus

kadhālika (كَذَلِكَ)

you will be brought forth

tukh'rajūna (تُخْرَجُونَ)

And the One Who

wa-alladhī (وَالَّذِي)

created

khalaqa (خَلَقَ)

the pairs

l-azwāja (الْأَزْوَاجَ)

all of them

and made

wajaʿala (وَجَعَلَ)

for you

lakum (لَكُمْ)

the ships

l-ful'ki (الْفُلْكِ)

and the cattle

wal-anʿāmi (وَالْأَنْعَامِ)

you ride

you sit firmly

is'tawaytum (اسْتَوَيْتُمْ)

on them

ʿalayhi (عَلَيْهِ)

43:13:11

and say

wataqūlū (وَتَقُولُوا)

43:13:12

Glory be (to)

sub'ḥāna (سُبْحَانَ)

the One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

43:13:14

(has) subjected

sakhara (سَخَّرَ)

to us

lanā (لَنَا)

this

hādhā (هَذَا)

and not

wamā (وَمَا)

43:13:18

we were

kunnā (كُنَّا)

of it

lahu (لَهُ)

capable

muq'rinīna (مُقْرِنِينَ)

And indeed we

wa-innā (وَإِنَّا)

to

ilā (إِلَى)

43:14:3

our Lord

rabbinā (رَبِّنَا)

will surely return

lamunqalibūna (لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ)

But they attribute

wajaʿalū (وَجَعَلُوا)

to Him

lahu (لَهُ)

from

His slaves

a portion

Indeed

inna (إِنَّ)

l-insāna (الْإِنْسَانَ)

surely (is) ungrateful

clearly

mubīnun (مُبِينٌ)

Or

ami (أَمِ)

has He taken

ittakhadha (اتَّخَذَ)

of what

mimmā (مِمَّا)

He has created

yakhluqu (يَخْلُقُ)

daughters

banātin (بَنَاتٍ)

and He has chosen (for) you

sons

bil-banīna (بِالْبَنِينَ)

And when

wa-idhā (وَإِذَا)

is given good news

bushira (بُشِّرَ)

(to) one of them

aḥaduhum (أَحَدُهُمْ)

of what

bimā (بِمَا)

he sets up

ḍaraba (ضَرَبَ)

for the Most Gracious

lilrraḥmāni (لِلرَّحْمَنِ)

(as) a likeness

mathalan (مَثَلًا)

43:17:8

becomes

his face

wajhuhu (وَجْهُهُ)

dark

mus'waddan (مُسْوَدًّا)

and he

(is) filled with grief

Then (is one) who

awaman (أَوَمَنْ)

is brought up

(of) the Most Gracious

l-raḥmāni (الرَّحْمَنِ)

Did they witness

their creation

Will be recorded

they (do)

Indeed we

our forefathers

a religion

ummatin (أُمَّةٍ)

and indeed we

wa-innā (وَإِنَّا)

ʿalā (عَلَى)

their footsteps

āthārihim (ءَاثَارِهِمْ)

(are) guided

better guidance

than what

you found

on it

ʿalayhi (عَلَيْهِ)

your forefathers

They said

Indeed we

innā (إِنَّا)

with what

bimā (بِمَا)

you are sent

ur'sil'tum (أُرْسِلْتُمْ)

with [it]

bihi (بِهِ)

(are) disbelievers

kāfirūna (كَافِرُونَ)

So We took retribution

fa-intaqamnā (فَانْتَقَمْنَا)

from them

Then see

fa-unẓur (فَانْظُرْ)

how

lasting

his descendents

so that they may

Nay

I gave enjoyment

mattaʿtu (مَتَّعْتُ)

(to) these

and their forefathers

waābāahum (وَءَابَاءَهُمْ)

43:29:5

until

ḥattā (حَتَّى)

came to them

jāahumu (جَاءَهُمُ)

43:29:7

the truth

l-ḥaqu (الْحَقُّ)

43:29:8

and a Messenger

warasūlun (وَرَسُولٌ)

43:29:9

clear

mubīnun (مُبِينٌ)

43:30:1

And when

walammā (وَلَمَّا)

43:30:2

came to them

jāahumu (جَاءَهُمُ)

43:30:3

the truth

l-ḥaqu (الْحَقُّ)

they said

(is) magic

(are) disbelievers

And they say

was sent down

their livelihood

the life

fawqa (فَوْقَ)

baʿḍin (بَعْضٍ)

(in) degrees

darajātin (دَرَجَاتٍ)

so that may take

liyattakhidha (لِيَتَّخِذَ)

some of them

baʿḍuhum (بَعْضُهُمْ)

others

baʿḍan (بَعْضًا)

(for) service

sukh'riyyan (سُخْرِيًّا)

But (the) Mercy

waraḥmatu (وَرَحْمَتُ)

(of) your Lord

rabbika (رَبِّكَ)

(is) better

khayrun (خَيْرٌ)

than what

mimmā (مِمَّا)

43:32:25

they accumulate

yajmaʿūna (يَجْمَعُونَ)

We (would have) made

disbelieves

in the Most Gracious

bil-raḥmāni (بِالرَّحْمَنِ)

for their houses

libuyūtihim (لِبُيُوتِهِمْ)

roofs

suqufan (سُقُفًا)

of

silver

and couches

upon which

ʿalayhā (عَلَيْهَا)

they recline

And ornaments of gold

wazukh'rufan (وَزُخْرُفًا)

(is) for the righteous

turns away

(the) remembrance

(of) the Most Gracious

We appoint

for him

a devil

shayṭānan (شَيْطَانًا)

a companion

And indeed they

wa-innahum (وَإِنَّهُمْ)

surely turn them

layaṣuddūnahum (لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ)

How wretched is

have full power

to that which

Indeed you

Straight

mus'taqīmin (مُسْتَقِيمٍ)

And indeed it

wa-innahu (وَإِنَّهُ)

(is) surely a Reminder

ladhik'run (لَذِكْرٌ)

for you

and your people

waliqawmika (وَلِقَوْمِكَ)

43:44:5

and soon

wasawfa (وَسَوْفَ)

you will be questioned

Firaun

Indeed I am

a Messenger

(of the) Lord

We took retribution

and We drowned them

the souls

l-anfusu (الْأَنْفُسُ)

and delights

wataladhu (وَتَلَذُّ)

the eyes

and you

wa-antum (وَأَنْتُمْ)

therein

fīhā (فِيهَا)

will abide forever

(is) the Paradise

l-janatu (الْجَنَّةُ)

you are made to inherit

ūrith'tumūhā (أُورِثْتُمُوهَا)

for what

taʿmalūna (تَعْمَلُونَ)

For you

lakum (لَكُمْ)

(are) fruits

fākihatun (فَاكِهَةٌ)

abundant

kathīratun (كَثِيرَةٌ)

from it

min'hā (مِنْهَا)

you will eat

takulūna (تَأْكُلُونَ)

Indeed

inna (إِنَّ)

the criminals

l-muj'rimīna (الْمُجْرِمِينَ)

(will be) in

fī (فِي)

(the) punishment

ʿadhābi (عَذَابِ)

43:74:5

(of) Hell

jahannama (جَهَنَّمَ)

abiding forever

khālidūna (خَالِدُونَ)

Not

lā (لَا)

43:75:2

will it subside

yufattaru (يُفَتَّرُ)

for them

ʿanhum (عَنْهُمْ)

43:75:4

and they

wahum (وَهُمْ)

43:75:5

in it

fīhi (فِيهِ)

43:75:6

(will) despair

mub'lisūna (مُبْلِسُونَ)

And not

wamā (وَمَا)

43:76:2

We wronged them

ẓalamnāhum (ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ)

43:76:3

but

walākin (وَلَكِنْ)

ل ك ن (root)

they were

kānū (كَانُوا)

43:76:5

themselves

humu (هُمُ)

43:76:6

wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna (الظَّالِمِينَ)

43:77:1

And they will call

wanādaw (وَنَادَوْا)

O Malik

yāmāliku (يَامَالِكُ)

43:77:3

Let put an end

liyaqḍi (لِيَقْضِ)

to us

ʿalaynā (عَلَيْنَا)

your Lord

rabbuka (رَبُّكَ)

43:77:6

He (will) say

qāla (قَالَ)

43:77:7

Indeed you

innakum (إِنَّكُمْ)

43:77:8

(will) remain

mākithūna (مَاكِثُونَ)

Certainly

laqad (لَقَدْ)

We have brought you

ji'nākum (جِئْنَاكُمْ)

the truth

bil-ḥaqi (بِالْحَقِّ)

but

walākinna (وَلَكِنَّ)

most of you

aktharakum (أَكْثَرَكُمْ)

ك ث ر (root)

43:78:6

to the truth

lil'ḥaqqi (لِلْحَقِّ)

43:78:7

(are) averse

kārihūna (كَارِهُونَ)

Or

am (أَمْ)

43:79:2

have they determined

abramū (أَبْرَمُوا)

an affair

amran (أَمْرًا)

ا م ر (root)

43:79:4

Then indeed We

fa-innā (فَإِنَّا)

43:79:5

(are) determined

mub'rimūna (مُبْرِمُونَ)

Or

am (أَمْ)

(do) they think

yaḥsabūna (يَحْسَبُونَ)

that We

annā (أَنَّا)

(can) not

lā (لَا)

hear

nasmaʿu (نَسْمَعُ)

their secret(s)

sirrahum (سِرَّهُمْ)

and their private counsel(s)

wanajwāhum (وَنَجْوَاهُمْ)

Nay

balā (بَلَى)

and Our Messengers

warusulunā (وَرُسُلُنَا)

with them

ladayhim (لَدَيْهِمْ)

are recording

yaktubūna (يَكْتُبُونَ)

Say

If

the Most Gracious

lilrraḥmāni (لِلرَّحْمَنِ)

a son

waladun (وَلَدٌ)

(would be the) first

awwalu (أَوَّلُ)

(of) the worshippers

l-ʿābidīna (الْعَابِدِينَ)

Glory be

sub'ḥāna (سُبْحَانَ)

(to the) Lord

rabbi (رَبِّ)

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

43:82:4

and the earth

wal-arḍi (وَالْأَرْضِ)

43:82:5

(the) Lord

rabbi (رَبِّ)

43:82:6

(of) the Throne

l-ʿarshi (الْعَرْشِ)

above what

ʿammā (عَمَّا)

they ascribe

yaṣifūna (يَصِفُونَ)

So leave them

fadharhum (فَذَرْهُمْ)

(to) converse vainly

yakhūḍū (يَخُوضُوا)

and play

wayalʿabū (وَيَلْعَبُوا)

ل ع ب (root)

until

ḥattā (حَتَّى)

ح ت ت ى (root)

43:83:5

they meet

yulāqū (يُلَاقُوا)

ل ق ى (root)

43:83:6

their Day

yawmahumu (يَوْمَهُمُ)

43:83:7

which

alladhī (الَّذِي)

43:83:8

they are promised

yūʿadūna (يُوعَدُونَ)

And He

wahuwa (وَهُوَ)

(is) the One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

43:84:3

(is) in

fī (فِي)

43:84:4

the heaven

l-samāi (السَّمَاءِ)

43:84:5

God

ilāhun (إِلَهٌ)

43:84:6

and in

wafī (وَفِي)

43:84:7

the earth

l-arḍi (الْأَرْضِ)

43:84:8

God

ilāhun (إِلَهٌ)

43:84:9

And He

wahuwa (وَهُوَ)

43:84:10

(is) the All-Wise

l-ḥakīmu (الْحَكِيمُ)

the All-Knower

l-ʿalīmu (الْعَلِيمُ)

43:85:1

And blessed (is)

watabāraka (وَتَبَارَكَ)

the One Who

alladhī (الَّذِي)

to Whom

lahu (لَهُ)

43:85:4

(belongs the) dominion

mul'ku (مُلْكُ)

43:85:5

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

43:85:6

and the earth

wal-arḍi (وَالْأَرْضِ)

43:85:7

and whatever

wamā (وَمَا)

43:85:8

(is) between both of them

baynahumā (بَيْنَهُمَا)

43:85:9

and with Him

waʿindahu (وَعِنْدَهُ)

43:85:10

(is the) knowledge

ʿil'mu (عِلْمُ)

43:85:11

(of) the Hour

l-sāʿati (السَّاعَةِ)

43:85:12

and to Him

wa-ilayhi (وَإِلَيْهِ)

43:85:13

you will be returned

tur'jaʿūna (تُرْجَعُونَ)

And not

walā (وَلَا)

have power

yamliku (يَمْلِكُ)

43:86:3

those whom

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

43:86:4

they invoke

yadʿūna (يَدْعُونَ)

from

min (مِنْ)

43:86:6

besides Him

dūnihi (دُونِهِ)

د و ن (root)

43:86:7

(for) the intercession

l-shafāʿata (الشَّفَاعَةَ)

except

illā (إِلَّا)

43:86:9

who

man (مَنْ)

43:86:10

testifies

shahida (شَهِدَ)

43:86:11

to the truth

bil-ḥaqi (بِالْحَقِّ)

43:86:12

and they

wahum (وَهُمْ)

43:86:13

know

yaʿlamūna (يَعْلَمُونَ)

43:87:1

And if

wala-in (وَلَئِنْ)

ل ا ن (root)

43:87:2

you ask them

sa-altahum (سَأَلْتَهُمْ)

43:87:3

who

man (مَنْ)

43:87:4

created them

khalaqahum (خَلَقَهُمْ)

43:87:5

they will certainly say

layaqūlunna (لَيَقُولُنَّ)

43:87:6

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

43:87:7

Then how

fa-annā (فَأَنَّى)

ا ن ن ى (root)

43:87:8

are they deluded

yu'fakūna (يُؤْفَكُونَ)

ا ف ك (root)

43:88:1

And his saying

waqīlihi (وَقِيلِهِ)

43:88:2

O my Lord

yārabbi (يَارَبِّ)

43:88:3

Indeed

inna (إِنَّ)

43:88:4

these

hāulāi (هَؤُلَاءِ)

ا و ل ا (root)

43:88:5

(are) a people

qawmun (قَوْمٌ)

43:88:6

(who do) not

lā (لَا)

43:88:7

believe

yu'minūna (يُؤْمِنُونَ)

ا م ن (root)

43:89:1

So turn away

fa-iṣ'faḥ (فَاصْفَحْ)

ص ف ح (root)

43:89:2

from them

ʿanhum (عَنْهُمْ)

43:89:3

and say

waqul (وَقُلْ)

43:89:4

Peace

salāmun (سَلَامٌ)

But soon

fasawfa (فَسَوْفَ)

they will know

yaʿlamūna (يَعْلَمُونَ)
