(are) surely (the) Messenger

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

And Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

knows

yaʿlamu (يَعْلَمُ)

that you

innaka (إِنَّكَ)

63:1:12

(are) surely His Messenger

larasūluhu (لَرَسُولُهُ)

and Allah

wal-lahu (وَاللَّهُ)

testifies

the hypocrites

l-munāfiqīna (الْمُنَافِقِينَ)

(are) surely liars

lakādhibūna (لَكَاذِبُونَ)

They take

ittakhadhū (اتَّخَذُوا)

63:2:2

their oaths

aymānahum (أَيْمَانَهُمْ)

ى م ن (root)

63:2:3

(as) a cover

junnatan (جُنَّةً)

ج ن ن (root)

63:2:4

so they turn away

faṣaddū (فَصَدُّوا)

63:2:5

from

ʿan (عَنْ)

63:2:6

(the) Way

sabīli (سَبِيلِ)

63:2:7

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

63:2:8

Indeed [they]

innahum (إِنَّهُمْ)

63:2:9

evil is

sāa (سَاءَ)

63:2:10

what

mā (مَا)

63:2:11

they used to

kānū (كَانُوا)

ك و ن (root)

63:2:12

do

yaʿmalūna (يَعْمَلُونَ)

That

dhālika (ذَلِكَ)

(is) because

bi-annahum (بِأَنَّهُمْ)

they believed

āmanū (ءَامَنُوا)

then

thumma (ثُمَّ)

63:3:5

they disbelieved

kafarū (كَفَرُوا)

ك ف ر (root)

63:3:6

so were sealed

faṭubiʿa (فَطُبِعَ)

63:3:7

[upon]

ʿalā (عَلَى)

63:3:8

their hearts

qulūbihim (قُلُوبِهِمْ)

ق ل ب (root)

63:3:9

so they

fahum (فَهُمْ)

63:3:10

(do) not

lā (لَا)

63:3:11

understand

yafqahūna (يَفْقَهُونَ)

And when

wa-idhā (وَإِذَا)

you see them

ra-aytahum (رَأَيْتَهُمْ)

pleases you

tuʿ'jibuka (تُعْجِبُكَ)

their bodies

ajsāmuhum (أَجْسَامُهُمْ)

and if

wa-in (وَإِنْ)

they speak

yaqūlū (يَقُولُوا)

you listen

tasmaʿ (تَسْمَعْ)

to their speech

liqawlihim (لِقَوْلِهِمْ)

63:4:9

as if they (were)

ka-annahum (كَأَنَّهُمْ)

pieces of wood

khushubun (خُشُبٌ)

propped up

musannadatun (مُسَنَّدَةٌ)

They think

yaḥsabūna (يَحْسَبُونَ)

every

kulla (كُلَّ)

shout

ṣayḥatin (صَيْحَةٍ)

(is) against them

ʿalayhim (عَلَيْهِمْ)

They

(are) the enemy

l-ʿaduwu (الْعَدُوُّ)

so beware of them

fa-iḥ'dharhum (فَاحْذَرْهُمْ)

May destroy them

qātalahumu (قَاتَلَهُمُ)

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

How

are they deluded

yu'fakūna (يُؤْفَكُونَ)

to them

Come

taʿālaw (تَعَالَوْا)

will ask forgiveness

yastaghfir (يَسْتَغْفِرْ)

63:5:6

for you

lakum (لَكُمْ)

63:5:7

(the) Messenger

rasūlu (رَسُولُ)

63:5:8

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

63:5:9

They turn aside

lawwaw (لَوَّوْا)

ل و ى (root)

63:5:10

their heads

ruūsahum (رُءُوسَهُمْ)

ر ا س (root)

63:5:11

and you see them

wara-aytahum (وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ)

ر ا ى (root)

63:5:12

turning away

yaṣuddūna (يَصُدُّونَ)

ص د د (root)

63:5:13

while they

wahum (وَهُمْ)

63:5:14

(are) arrogant

mus'takbirūna (مُسْتَكْبِرُونَ)

(It) is same

sawāon (سَوَاءٌ)

for them

ʿalayhim (عَلَيْهِمْ)

63:6:3

whether you ask forgiveness

astaghfarta (أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ)

63:6:4

for them

lahum (لَهُمْ)

63:6:5

or

am (أَمْ)

63:6:6

(do) not

lam (لَمْ)

63:6:7

ask forgiveness

tastaghfir (تَسْتَغْفِرْ)

for them

lahum (لَهُمْ)

Never

lan (لَنْ)

will forgive

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

[to] them

Indeed

inna (إِنَّ)

Allah

guide

the people

l-qawma (الْقَوْمَ)

the defiantly disobedient

l-fāsiqīna (الْفَاسِقِينَ)

They

(are) those who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

yaqūlūna (يَقُولُونَ)

(Do) not

tunfiqū (تُنْفِقُوا)

on

ʿalā (عَلَى)

(those) who

man (مَنْ)

63:7:8

(are) with

ʿinda (عِنْدَ)

(the) Messenger

rasūli (رَسُولِ)

63:7:10

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

63:7:11

until

ḥattā (حَتَّى)

63:7:12

they disband

yanfaḍḍū (يَنْفَضُّوا)

ف ض ض (root)

63:7:13

And for Allah

walillahi (وَلِلَّهِ)

63:7:14

(are the) treasures

khazāinu (خَزَائِنُ)

خ ز ن (root)

63:7:15

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti (السَّمَاوَاتِ)

63:7:16

and the earth

wal-arḍi (وَالْأَرْضِ)

ا ر ض (root)

63:7:17

but

walākinna (وَلَكِنَّ)

ل ك ن (root)

63:7:18

the hypocrites

l-munāfiqīna (الْمُنَافِقِينَ)

(do) not

lā (لَا)

understand

yafqahūna (يَفْقَهُونَ)

They say

Al-Madinah

l-madīnati (الْمَدِينَةِ)

surely will expel

layukh'rijanna (لَيُخْرِجَنَّ)

the more honorable

l-aʿazu (الْأَعَزُّ)

ع ز ز (root)

from it

min'hā (مِنْهَا)

63:8:9

the more humble

l-adhala (الْأَذَلَّ)

But for Allah

walillahi (وَلِلَّهِ)

63:8:11

(is) the honor

l-ʿizatu (الْعِزَّةُ)

and for His Messenger

walirasūlihi (وَلِرَسُولِهِ)

63:8:13

and for the believers

walil'mu'minīna (وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ)

ا م ن (root)

63:8:14

but

walākinna (وَلَكِنَّ)

ل ك ن (root)

63:8:15

the hypocrites

l-munāfiqīna (الْمُنَافِقِينَ)

(do) not

lā (لَا)

know

yaʿlamūna (يَعْلَمُونَ)

O you

yāayyuhā (يَاأَيُّهَا)

who

alladhīna (الَّذِينَ)

believe

āmanū (ءَامَنُوا)

(Let) not

lā (لَا)

63:9:5

divert you

tul'hikum (تُلْهِكُمْ)

ل ه و (root)

63:9:6

your wealth

amwālukum (أَمْوَالُكُمْ)

63:9:7

and not

walā (وَلَا)

63:9:8

your children

awlādukum (أَوْلَادُكُمْ)

و ل د (root)

63:9:9

ʿan (عَنْ)

ع ن (root)

63:9:10

(the) remembrance

dhik'ri (ذِكْرِ)

ذ ك ر (root)

63:9:11

(of) Allah

l-lahi (اللَّهِ)

63:9:12

And whoever

waman (وَمَنْ)

63:9:13

does

yafʿal (يَفْعَلْ)

ف ع ل (root)

63:9:14

that

dhālika (ذَلِكَ)

63:9:15

then those

fa-ulāika (فَأُولَئِكَ)

ا و ل ا (root)

63:9:16

[they]

humu (هُمُ)

(are) the losers

l-khāsirūna (الْخَاسِرُونَ)

And spend

wa-anfiqū (وَأَنْفِقُوا)

what

We have provided you

razaqnākum (رَزَقْنَاكُمْ)

comes

yatiya (يَأْتِيَ)

(to) one of you

aḥadakumu (أَحَدَكُمُ)

the death

l-mawtu (الْمَوْتُ)

and he says

fayaqūla (فَيَقُولَ)

My Lord

rabbi (رَبِّ)

Why not

lawlā (لَوْلَا)

You delay me

akhartanī (أَخَّرْتَنِي)

63:10:15

for

ilā (إِلَى)

a term

ajalin (أَجَلٍ)

near

qarībin (قَرِيبٍ)

so I would give charity

fa-aṣṣaddaqa (فَأَصَّدَّقَ)

and be

wa-akun (وَأَكُنْ)

63:10:20

among

mina (مِنَ)

63:10:21

the righteous

l-ṣāliḥīna (الصَّالِحِينَ)

But never

walan (وَلَنْ)

will delay

yu-akhira (يُؤَخِّرَ)

63:11:3

Allah

l-lahu (اللَّهُ)

a soul

nafsan (نَفْسًا)

when

idhā (إِذَا)

has come

jāa (جَاءَ)

its term
