Worship

and fear Him

and obey me

wa-aṭīʿūni (وَأَطِيعُونِ)

He will forgive

for you

your sins

and give you respite

my invitation

I invited them

that You may forgive

litaghfira (لِتَغْفِرَ)

they put

their fingers

aṣābiʿahum (أَصَابِعَهُمْ)

their ears

and covered themselves

and persisted

wa-aṣarrū (وَأَصَرُّوا)

and were arrogant

wa-is'takbarū (وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا)

(with) pride

is'tik'bāran (اسْتِكْبَارًا)

invited them

publicly

indeed I

announced

to them

and I confided

to them

secretly

Ask forgiveness

He will send down

has caused you to grow

the earth

the earth

his wealth
