Surah An-Nasr


Surah An-Nasr (The Divine Support) is the 110. surah in Quran.An-Nasr surah is listed as the 114. by revelation order.

 It is considered to be a Meccan Surah as it was believed to be revealed in Mecca. This surah takes its name from the word mentioned in the first ayah.

This is considered to be the last surah revealed to prophet Muhammad. It talks about the success of the prophet and Islam as countless people had accepted Islam as their religion and in return God has forgiven the sins of people.

110:1
When the victory of Allāh has come and the conquest,
Iza jaaa’a nasrul-laahi walfath
إذا جاء نصر ٱلله وٱلفتح
110:2
And you see the people entering into the religion of Allāh in multitudes,
Wa ra-aitan naasa yadkhuloona fee deenil laahi afwajaa
ورأيت ٱلناس يدخلون فى دين ٱلله أفواجا
110:3
Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of Repentance.
Fasabbih bihamdi rabbika wastaghfirh, innahoo kaana tawwaaba
فسبح بحمد ربك وٱستغفره إنهۥ كان توابا
